Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones (born September 3 1976) is an American actress. Her best-known role is playing Megan Dennison, on The Young and the Restless as well as Bridget Forrester, on The Bold and the Beautiful. The actress also played the character part of Daphne in the second season of the HBO drama series True Blood. Ashley Jones graduated in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in Human Learning K-8 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her first job was as an educator in Maury County where she taught kindergarten and the first graders Reading. She got married in 1998 to the love of her life and UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones and moved from Maury County to Thompsons Station. She began her teaching career as a teacher at Bethesda Elementary, where she taught fourth grade. In 1999 and 2000 she taught while getting her Masters of Instruction through Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped away from teaching when they welcomed their first son Baylor into the world in 2000. Ashley had spent her last 15 years working for communities, and was primarily concerned with children's growth in her church as well as in the community she lived in. Ashley has served as an instructor for the Preschool Ministry as well as in the Student Ministry since more than 13 years. Ashley taught her children at home for three years during the time she was away at home. In their time of homeschooling, they attended a family school-based tutorial, during which Ashley as well taught History for Kindergarten as well as 1st Grade. She loved staying in the home with her children and was a great teacher her children. But, God made it clear that the time was right for the family to move back fully-time. Brent and Ashley each have five kids. Silas, Eliza, and Cruz all attend GCA. Baylor is a GCA graduate attends and is a baseball player at UT Martin. Callan also is a GCA graduate, attends Western Kentucky University. The family is involved and is fond of fishing, hunting and supporting one another in sport.
